Mind Candy’s new game needed a new home

Pitched as 'Horrible Histories meets Game of Thrones meets Pokemon', World of Warriors was launched in October 2014 and achieved phenomenal success. Our brief was to create a multi-language hub to house content and showcase merchandise.

Visualising the end goal

Content would be launched in phases throughout the year, so we created a finished site map with colour coded sections indicating each content phase. That made it easy to identify areas of the design that needed to grow and adapt to new content.

It was essential that the user journey reflected the stunning game visuals. We used game assets and brand guidelines to create an engaging, responsive site that players felt instantly at home in.

Elements of World of Warriors

Multilingual Development

The site had to work in six languages which meant extra care had to be taken in both design and development to ensure all elements could adapt and respond to fit varying word lengths without compromising the look and feel. The site is built in PHP Laravel using our bespoke CMS enabling the client to manage localised versions of the site from one central platform.

Red gem

“Working with the team has been a pleasure with everything running smoothly, on time and to budget. Thin Martian's knowledge, experience and passion from the outset was impressive and we were confident they were the right partner to work with us on the launch of our brand new franchise. The platform we have built is something completely new for Mind Candy and is set to transform both our commercial relationships and consumer engagement with the brand.”
